VARIETY MIX SEEDS FOR MICROGREENS

Our Signature Bally Brook Microgreen Variety Mix brings you 2 oz of each of our favorite microgreen varieties.

2 oz - Alfalfa greens have large, deep green leaves with a mild crunch & flavor. Alfalfa is high in vitamin K, C & A which are all essential vitamins for optimal health

2 oz - Clover greens have beautiful soft green leaves with a light fresh flavor. The younger the clover, the sweeter the taste! Clover microgreens are packed with calcium, iron, magnesium & zinc

2 oz - Radish greens have deep green leaves on top of beautiful pink to red stalks with a punch of peppery spice flavor. Radish gives a zesty addition to many dishes! Radish greens contain vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, but they also deliver calcium iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.

2 oz - Sweet Pea greens have bright green leaves & long fine feathered tendrils. Sweet pea greens have a sweet, crisp & crunchy flavor similar to that of fresh snow pea pods. Sweet Peas contain protein, carbohydrate & vitamin C, as well as vitamin B1, iron, niacin, magnesium & zinc.

Harvested later than a “sprout” but not yet a “baby green”, microgreens are seedling plants that have an aromatic leaf flavor profile & a concentrated nutrient content much higher — about five times higher — than their mature plant counterpart.

Microgreens come in a variety of colors & textures with a broad scope of leaf flavors ranging from sweet to spicy!

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

Use a clean & shallow container, either a small dish or jar, to loosely sprinkle a small amount of seeds evenly across a dampened soil or similar growing medium of your choice. Try to choose a rich soil or seed starting mix as your growing medium. Place a covering of either cloth or an upside down container to retain moisture & trap heat. Remove the cover as soon as seeds have sprouted. Greens are ready to harvest when they are 3”-5” in height. Cut near the base of the stem & enjoy!
